Seasoned and highly effective Process Engineer with International exposure and 20 years experience in Combustion &Energy and theMining Industries covering Hydrometallurgy and Pyro metallurgy, Process Development, Project Evaluation/execution, Financial Analysis and having a thorough understanding of the mining business with focus on profitability. Successfully completed several projects along her career journey.
Graduated from the Copperbelt University-Zambia in 2001, joined the Combustion & Energy Industry and progressed to join the Mining industry as a Metallurgical Engineer. Part of the Team that Successfully Commissioned the Split Circuit Project at Konkola Copper Mines’ Tailings Leach Plant, Nchanga Mine Zambia. Seconded to Bharat Aluminium Company (BALCO) India, under the Vedanta Global Leadership Program in 2007 as Assistant Manager in the Aluminium Smelter.
Served in Various Portfolios in Konkola Copper Mines including- Plant Metallurgist, Accounting Metallurgist & Projects Engineer, Manager Cobalt Project, KCM Business Development Analyst- under KCM CEO’s Office. Currently superintending KCM SmelterCo Projects as Engineering Superintendent.
A Fellow of the Engineering Institution of Zambia. Past Vice Chairperson of the Engineering Institution of Zambia-Chingola Branch and Registered member of the Engineer’s Registration Board. Board Member of Mulonga Water and Sanitation Company in Zambia.
