Engaged for over twelve (12) years in giving a strong and influential voice to private mining operators in Côte d’Ivoire, Christine LOGBO-KOSSI (CLK) is a Eburnie Gold Fields Consultant
Before entering the mining sector, CLK worked for seven (07) years at the Association of Communication Consulting Agencies of Côte d’Ivoire (AACC-CI), where she established the Advertising White Paper, a guiding document still used by Ivorian advertisers.
In 2015, she founded the Women Miners Network of Côte d’Ivoire (FEMICI), of which she has been the president since 2019. Concurrently, along with other women from the UEMOA region, the West African Association of Women in the Extractive Sector (WIMOWA) was established in 2016.
In 2018, she was appointed Vice President for West Africa on the board of the African Women in the Extractive Industries Association (AWIMA).
Her commitment and leadership have earned her a place in the Top 5 of the list of the 100 most inspiring women in the mining world. She was also appointed by the Advisory Committee of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in partnership with Global Affairs Canada to implement a seven-year local economic development program in Africa (2017-2023) focused on extractive industries.
Christine LOGBO-KOSSI holds a Global Executive Master in Strategic Management from HEC Paris and two (02) Masters respectively in Cooperation & International Solidarity and in Marketing Communication Public Relations from the University of EVRY and ESSEC in France.
