Mr Pierre Masquart is a lawyer at the Paris Bar and a former Secretary of the Conference of Avocats aux Conseils. He is a recognized expert in business law, taxation, and international law. Graduated in business law and taxation from the University of Nancy II and holding a master’s degree in European and International Management from NEOMA Business School, he possesses solid experience in legal advice and litigation in these fields. Co-founder of the law firm Kimia Avocats Aarpi (www.kimia-avocats.com), he supports governments, public institutions, companies, and investors in Africa by providing them with tailor-made legal solutions adapted to the economic and strategic challenges of the continent, notably in the fields of business law, tax law, electoral law, space law, and mining law.
Me Pierre Masquart notably co-authored the 2023 electoral process assessment report and reform proposals entitled: “DRC: A Democracy in Consolidation”, presented to the President of the Republic Félix Tshisekedi.
An active advocate for economic cooperation between Africa and Europe, Me Masquart is also co-chair of the association Les Rendez-Vous d’Afrique(s), dedicated to promoting political, economic, and cultural exchanges between Africa and the rest of the world.”
