Ousmane MBAYE is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Dangote Cement Senegal, which is a subsidiary of Dangote Cement Group, a multinational company present in several African countries.
Ousmane MBAYE holds a master’s degree in Finance and Accounting and possesses extensive knowledge and a wide range of financial practices.
With over 20 years of experience in the private sector, Ousmane MBAYE has spent 14 years in the extractive sector, where he has worked during various phases of a mining company (exploration, investment realization, and operation). As a result, Ousmane has a very good understanding of issues related to mining operations in Senegal.
Ousmane Mbaye is the President of the Chamber of Mines of Senegal (CDMS), which is a private non-profit association that aims to promote and protect mining investments in the country and to foster the development of a dynamic and structured mining sector.
Ousmane MBAYE is also the President of SPIS (Professional Union of Industries of Senegal). This Union aims to bring together representative industrial actors to speak with one voice in defense of the economic and social interests of the industrial sector.
