Patrice EBAH has more than 7 years of experience in the mining sector. As the Innovation Officer at the Institute for Research and Development (IRD), he coordinates the Responsible Mining Activity and Sustainable Development Network (RAMR2D) of the ACE-PARTNER Program.
He holds a master’s degree in fundamental public law with a focus on environment and extractive industries from Jean Lorougnon Guédé University (Côte d’Ivoire), following a bachelor’s degree in public law. He is certified in the relocation and resettlement of populations affected by development projects from SETYM International Canada. He is also certified in mining rent sharing modeling and understanding the fiscal policy issues in the extractive sector from the Institute of Advanced Studies in Sustainable Development (IHEDD).
He holds a certification in International Criminal Law, International Humanitarian Law, and Transitional Justice from the Peacekeeping School of Bamako at the 7th session of the René CASSIN Foundation in 2020.
He is the co-founder and cooperation officer of the NGO Agir pour l’Environnement dans les Industries Extractives (AEIE), an Ivorian law NGO.
