Roxana Liciu is an Investment Guarantee Officer at the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), the political risk insurance and credit enhancement arm of the World Bank Group. In her current capacity, she focuses on business development with European investors into emerging markets worldwide, as well as origination of projects into the Africa and Eastern Europe regions. In addition, Roxana works closely with teams in Washington DC, having led the execution of various transactions in the Extractives sector in Africa. Roxana is currently stationed in the Paris office of the World Bank Group.
Roxana has been in this role since 2018, prior to which she held various positions within MIGA’s Europe Office, supporting both execution and origination of transactions across a variety of sectors. Before joining MIGA, she worked with Amundi Asset Management and BNP Paribas in various client facing and project structuring capacities.
Roxana received a Masters in Management with a focus on International Business and Finance from ESCP Europe Business School in Paris/ London. She is a dual Romanian-French citizen.
