The Chamber of Mines of Mozambique (CMM) founded in 2012currently with 59, is the only formal private sector organization that claims to represent the entire mining sector in Mozambique. The aim of establishing the chamber is to coordinate private sector actors in the sector, promote the defence of the interests of its members in the pursuit of mining activities and improve the image of mining in Mozambique.
