Dr Ash Johnson

Dr Ash Johnson is a geophysicist and business leader with more than 35 years’ experience working with government and commercial organisations on all continents. He specialises in helping international government geoscience organisations make the most of their data assets to promote mineral exploration opportunities. He is a Director of IGS (International Geoscience Services) Ltd, who have completed geoscience data projects across Africa, including Nigeria, Uganda, Mauritania, Mozambique, DRC, Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Malawi, Zambia, Sudan, Tanzania and Botswana. Dr Johnson is currently coordinator of a consortium acting as Technical Partner to the Saudi Geological Survey on a multi-year national geoscience program – one of the largest such programs in the world – including geophysical and geochemical surveys, geological mapping and the establishment of a National Geoscience Database.
