James is a Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Frontier Rare Earths and has over 25 years’ experience in the natural resource sector in senior executive, advisory and Board roles. James was a key member of the team that managed the development of Frontier Rare Earths, including its listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange in 2010,the discovery and successful permitting of Frontier’s Zandkopsdrift rare earth battery grade manganese sulphate project in the Northern Cape Province of South Africa and the introduction of the South Korean Government as strategic project partners to Zandkopsdrift.
James was previously a co-founder and Director of Firestone Diamonds plc, which was listed on the AIM market in London and developed and operated diamond mines in South Africa, Botswana and Lesotho, and established exploration joint ventures with De Beers.
James was also the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Evolution Securities Plc which listed on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange and has also held senior roles with ABN Amro Bank, Rothschild and RBS and as a non-executive director in the automotive and industrial lithium battery, private equity and property sectors.
James has a B.Comm (Hons) and a MBS (Finance) from University College, Dublin.
