Doctor of Chemistry and Process Engineering from the École Centrale Paris (2004), characterized by a strong results-oriented culture and timely project management. Over 20 years of experience in teaching and research in the chemistry-physics of solutions, computational methods, and process optimization. Proven expertise in the analysis of extractive processes, the design and development of innovative solutions in extractive metallurgy, and the recovery and/or remediation of processing residues using environmentally friendly hydrometallurgical processes.

Professor at the National Pedagogical University/Ministry of Higher Education, University, and Scientific Research of the DRC.

Mining Expert for the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Honorary Chairman of the Regional Audit Committee, International Conference on the Great Lakes Region (2016-2017).

President of the Technical Secretariat of the Commission responsible for the Revision of the Mining Law of the Democratic Republic of Congo (2012-2018).

Resource person and speaker at Metal Bulletin’s African Copper Conference from 2011 to 2014.

After serving as Deputy Coordinator in charge of technical matters from 2009 to 2025, Dieudonné-Louis TAMBWE KASONG’a-MWIMBA has been the new Coordinator of the Technical Unit for Coordination and Mining Planning (CTCPM), the focal point and advisory and research body of the Ministry of Mines of the Democratic Republic of Congo, since March 2025.
