Dr. Y. Callec, mapping geologist and sedimentologist, worked for IFP Energies Nouvelles (IFPEN) before joining the French geological survey (BRGM) in 2003. He was responsible of geological mapping programs (geological mapping, geophysics, geochemistry, drilling campaigns) in Mauritania, Madagascar, Republic of Congo and Democratic Republic of Congo, with geological contributions in other projects in Mali, Malawi and Saudi Arabia. His research focused on Precambrian series to Meso-Cenozoic covers. In 2022, he obtained a Master’s. Certificate in International Project Management (ESCD 3A). In 2023, he became the International Activities coordinator for the Direction of BRGM’s Georesources Division.
